NewsMy Tetris playing pumpkin brings all the boys to the yard
What happens when you combine a pumpkin with Tetris? The only acceptable answer is “Pumpktris.” Let’s get a few things straight here people, this isn’t just a pumpkin with some sort of Tetris level carved into it – this pumpkin actually plays the game of Tetris on it. You control the blocks with the stem, you get points, you beat levels, and you lose. You know, Tetris.
Nathan of ‘Haha Bird’ used a LOLshiled with Tetris already programed on it, made some specific carvings, filled said carvings with 140 LED lights, lots of wiring inside the pumpkin, and transformed the stem of the pumpkin into a controller. There is a whole bunch of other technical stuff that I don’t understand but recognize as awesome. This recipe makes a pretty damn sweet pumpkin that has the ability to play Tetris on it.
I was thinking just the other day that we need more fruit that can be transformed into gaming platforms. Well done sir, well done. You may have won Halloween. Watch the video below, and prepare to get your mind blown.
Damn right, it’s better than yours.
